About

This is a collection of detailed articles, worked examples and code collected from over 20 years experience in the Information Technology field as a developer, trainer and public presenter.

This site aims to provide high-quality, in-depth articles - with all content publicly-available and no registration required. Please leave feedback if you feel topics should be extended or even suggest new related content - I'm always open to ideas!

If you find any useful content - please give credit - and attach the URL to the article in your code or documentation so others may retrieve additional information if they so wish.

All of this content has been written for my personal use. If you find it useful too then I'm very pleased - that was the intention of making it publicly available after all... BUT:

Some of the example code demonstrates very powerful techniques, eg. it might be designed to delete data in large databases or perform other irreversible behaviour. If you download or follow any advice or techiques here YOU DO SO ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Care has been taken to make sure content was virus-scanned before it was posted BUT you are responsible for ensuring that the content is virus-free and I take no liability that the advice or techniques given here will work correctly for you - it may not - your environment will be different to mine and your environment and what you do with or to it is 100% your responsibility.

Please see the Terms of Use for further information.

All of that said, Information Technoloy is fun and exciting - I trust you share my enthusiasm about it and hope you enjoy browsing the content here.

If you find problems or inaccuracies with the content, please let me know and I'll fix it as soon as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
